MTT and a somwhat spoiled attitude

I do have to admit that I am a tad frustrated that playing ABC good poker is so incredibly ineffective lately. I mean, I had a lucky break when my AK flopped an Ace on KK, but then it all went downhill as I lost 4 straight all-ins with dominating hands (AQ vs. A8 for example), pushing me from the top 25 to out in an hour.

But, I will say this. I LOVE CAP ENTRY TOURNAMENTS. I was so sick of playing with 800 people, then after an over an hour there are 900 people, because 600 late registered.

I played a 500 cap. under 300 started, and sure enough players keep coming. But in a cap, it STOPS. If I could, I would play ONLY CAP entry MTT online from now on.

Very confused by your dislike for non-cap-entry tournaments. I typically *love* playing tournaments with long late-registration periods. There is no doubt that these guys are coming in with lower EV than me when they miss out on the first 50 minutes of a large mtt. And it's all the more true when you're dealing with an online tournament with blind rounds of 5-15 minutes tops. I am pretty much all about bringing in as many low-EV lemmings as possible into the field any time I am in an mtt.

What gives?

You know, that is a really good question. I think its the 1200+ fields and MTTs lasting 8 hours to the bubble that have worn me down...

i personally only play a big mttwhen I play a mtt but I only do it when i had a good week and I managed to stack up my bankroll.
Soon or later Those Big tournaments will become a gamble , I mean of course it's possible to cash in like 5 out of ten times if you're playing tight enough but to really profit from sitting around for 5 hours you need way too much luck .
That's why I do it the other way round , I play those huge tourneys on sunday and thinko of it as my lucky gamble.
