This hand had been haunting me...

I thought for about this for a short while. I want to lead here as I dont expect to be against AK, but there are many Kx and 9x hands I get value from.

We are heads up now and the 7c changes nothing. I still am expecting Kx (KQ most likely?) or A9 here.

I don't see what you an beat except a bluff, so easy fold.
So, what did you do, what happened?
I laid it down, thinking that I could only beat a bluff and that there are a good number of Kings in his range, particularly KQ. He range is really polarized as ONLY KQ bets here on the river and its the ONLY hand I see getting to the river.
I was shocked when he showed the J9 for 2 pair. There is no way he thought that was good when he shoved river, so clearly turned his hand into a bluff that I believe he can only make if he puts me on a set. (or was just a hapless donk.)
