I don't see how you could've or should've played it differently.
Frankly, I don't see see why Waffles simply check-calls on the turn and river here(?), as it appears he should've gotten a lot more out of you here. I don't think you can fault your play at all here, and honestly I'd be thankful you didn't lose more.
