Donk's paradise redux

Still with an average stack the almost exact same scenario comes into play, only this time I have JJ...

I have 13k. UtG pushes in his 5k stack. Button with 6k shoves.

You have JJ. Is THIS a call or fold? How does this compare with the AK?

What's our M at this point? I think this maybe the most crucial part of the equation.

Now that we are average stacked, I don't think we can afford races for chips, which is essentially what this is. Of course that is if we didn't run into the monster in the closet (QQ-AA). The only time I think I call this is when we are average stacked and our M is low, 7 or less, especially this being 6 handed, and we need chips because it's becoming a crap shoot.

I'm sure this sounds nitty.

I am almost more apt to call with A-K than JJ here because chances are less you're dominated with something.

I have folded in this spot before.

If this were Bodog, I fold, because I want the points and the $T109 overlay.

If this were a 45-person SnG, I might consider a call because I want to win it, not just take sixth for $15.

You see the situation?

Best case scenario: The open shove is A-x, and the button is isolating (for 1K more, natch) with A-K, and you're in decent shape in the race.

My guess is the button has a pair, 6s to QQ, maybe even KK or AA if the Ms are really low, and the other guy has A-x.

I would kinda hate calling here because you might have to dodge a lot of outs at best.. But you are getting a good shot to double up.. It is half your stack. I guess it depends on how much of a gambling mood I am in I tend to think folding is the right move though.
