Easy fold IMO.

There are basically two all ins in front of you...

I'd rather you not post the results though.

you have 0 fold equity - so we can just pokerstove our equity with TT against his calling range. I would say as I guess that we're a slight but not huge favorite (racing AQ/AK, dead to big pockets, killing small pockets down to ???).

So if we figure it all out and we're 55-60%, are you willing to risk your tourney on this close a margin?

You should have folded with a big stack calling ahead of you. He already called 6.5k, what makes you think he will fold with another 6.5k re-raise. I try to say, unless you have AA, KK, or maybe even QQ, in that situation, you FOLD!

Let's put our nose to the PokerStove grinder--what is the best result for us (other than the big stack having a lover pair) is AK vs AQ vs our TT. PokerStove shows that although heads up against any one we are a favorite, against the field we are a pretty good dog. We also would have to assume that we would have to stick in our whole stack. TT plays poorly against multiple opponents (especially so when there is no fold equity). Easy fold. Next hand.

The one distinction that no one has mentioned yet in the comments but which I find to be generally significant in these situations is that he flat-called the 6700 bet, as opposed to moving allin to isolate. With a big pocket pair I find big stacks tend to just call these large allin pushes in front of them, hoping to get some poor sap behind them to push allin on the illusion that the big stack might fold to another raise.

The way I see it, if he has AJ or AQ or a hand like 88 here and wants to play it, he is going to push allin for his entire 30k+ stack. This will look scary and will generally discourage anyone else from coming along, which of course is exactly the point of the iso-raise in the first place. But when I see a big stack -- a guy who easily has the chips to iso-raise here if he wants to -- instead opt to smooth call, I hear those same alarm bells I hear when a guy leads out for a third time in a hand, or when someone smooth calls a bet for the second or third time after the flop. I'm immediately thinking big pair, or sometimes AK.

Thus, I would fold. Ironically if he had pushed allin here instead of just calling the 6700 chip bet, I would give slightly more thought to calling because I think TT does a little better against that expected range than against the smooth-calling range.

I couldn't agree more. That is why I feel sooooo stooopid there.
Easy, easy fold.
