Typically when I see the stop and go in a tournament, I assume it's with a vulnerable hand that is trying to protect itself from an unimproved hand. I typically see medium pairs or suited broadway cards that have the draw (flush). I would call if I had a high pair, good draw with an ace, or possibly AK. Basically any hand I think I have a good shot at having at least 30% equity in the hand with.
I typically would expect to see 99-JJ though. A good hand that hopes it's against just an ace.
Smells like AK. I would call you with any pair or flush draw and reluctantly fold unsooted overcards.
You look like someone with an overpair or a flush draw.

I would believe you have Top pair flush draw or straight draw.
